About us

Makers Mews is located in an old building in the centre of Ivybridge, renovated with recycled + repurposed materials, creating a space for local makers, designers + socially focussed businesses to access workspace, hold classes, network + receive mentoring.

We encourage connection, aim to prevent loneliness + reduce the negative impacts on mental health for the people running these organisations.

The space enables Ivybridge’s community to learn new skills + embrace creativity, understanding the need for reuse + reduction in consumerism through community events, classes + reuse initiatives.

Providing opportunities for connection, sharing skills + resources for all the community. Supporting them to work together to tackle climate change + improve our local area.
